Hey, welcome to my personal homepage!

I'm Amin, though online I usually go by Duckulus, because my younger self came up with that name (and ducks are just awesome).

Currently I'm studying Computer Science in my hometown in Germany. I first got into programming at 15, when some friends and I wanted to create a Minecraft PvP Server. None of us knew Java at the time, so I decided to learn it. While we didn't end up building a successful server, today I still enjoy writing Minecraft Plugins for PvPRivals and programming has grown into a big passion of mine.

Some of the areas that interest me are:

• Database system internals
• Programming languages
• The JVM
